A Kitchen Dream That
Changed Everything
It started with a simple observation: India's most gifted cooks β the women who feed entire families with love, tradition, and artistry β had no platform to share their craft with the world. Shalini Thackeray set out to change that in 2022.
What began as a small WhatsApp group connecting 12 home cooks in Mumbai has blossomed into a nationwide platform serving over 12,000 happy customers. Naari now operates across 18 cities, celebrating the richness of regional Indian cuisine made fresh daily by 200+ talented women entrepreneurs.
Our mission is rooted in three pillars: dignity of labour, financial independence, and culinary heritage. Every order placed on Naari directly supports a woman's dream β a dream that deserves to be tasted.

The Platform is Born π
Naari officially launches its web platform with 40 registered chefs across Mumbai and Pune. Pre-seed funding secured from a women-led VC firm.
